Dr. Saba Khan

Dr. Khan is a respected periodontist near Arlington Heights who decided to pursue dentistry while in high school. Learning that it combined both art and science, she focused her attention on periodontics because of its ability to change and improve a person’s overall health and appearance.

Graduating from Indiana University, School of Dentistry, Indianapolis for Periodontics & Implant Dentistry, she has nearly two decades of experience practicing periodontics and placing dental implants. In fact, she is considered an expert in providing All-On-4.

In addition to her time at Epic Periodontics & Implant Center, she also serves as a faculty member at the University of Chicago – Illinois (UIC) College of Dentistry – a position she has held since 2007. Working in the periodontics department, she evaluates, implements, and supervises post-graduate residents in traditional and state-of-the-art periodontal therapies and dental implant procedures.

Her extensive knowledge and experience also allow her to teach various continuing education courses to fellow dentists, and she’s had much of her work published in various professional journals.

Dr. Khan’s training as a periodontist near Arlington Heights allows her to provide high-quality care to her patients, which is evident because of her continued participation in multiple organizations. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology & Dental Implants – a status that only 1/3rd of periodontists achieve.

When Dr. Khan isn’t busy transforming smiles, you’ll find her spending time with her husband, Mazhar, and their two sons, Mubashir and Ibrahim. Active in the community, she is an elected Village Trustee, but she also enjoys running and playing badminton.
